In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

PREAMBLE

For a long time, the Muslim Community has been in a waiting mode when it comes matters of common welfare. We have been a customed to seeking assistance from outside even on issues we can solve ourselves. therefore We, the members of the Kakamega Muslim Benevolent Fund (KMBF), united by our Islamic faith and bound by a shared sense of duty to the Ummah, do solemnly declare our intent to serve Allah (SWT) through structured acts of benevolence (khidmah), compassion (rahmah), and mutual support (ta’awun).

Fully conscious of the socio-economic burdens facing many in our community, and guided by the timeless principles of the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), we hereby establish and adopt this Constitution as a covenant of service, transparency, and integrity.

This Benevolent Fund shall operate in accordance with Islamic Shari’ah, the laws of the Republic of Kenya, and the universal values of justice, dignity, and brotherhood.

May Allah accept this initiative, bless its leadership and membership, and make it a means of goodness in both worlds.
